Here is where you'll find the results for every audition we host on the channel from now on! We will explain briefly through how every audition works, hope you are satisified with your results and remember they are just opinions!

IF ONLY - AUDITION MEP

August/September 2017

We hosted "If Only" due to struggles with members continuing. This is our 2nd public MEP in a row as we recently had "Find That Someone". From this MEP we wanted to test editors' ability to edit fx & raw with this kind of song. It was a challenge and we wanted to see who was capable of being able to match the theme exactly how we wanted. We appreciate the amount of guests trying for this MEP and we have all looked carefully at the parts.

HOW JUDGING WORKED:

- 2 leaders judged giving a score out of 5 each

- 4 members judged giving a score out of 5 in average each

- 4 members voted giving a score of .5 in bonus

TOTAL:

Every part has a score out of 10 from the leaders, a total average of 5 from the 4 members and bonus points from the members that voted.

Comment: There was such amazing manga editing in this part. It really hit a lot of us in the feels, it had flow and it was creative. It really just suited the theme so much. The pace was just well done and the effects were smooth. Lovely part. We would like to see what you can do with anime, this was definitely a great manga edit. We would recommend to try work more on lyric positioning.

Comment: We really admire you trying for a public MEP again. You have potential! Your flow is lovely and loved the touch of creativity with the blossoms. Beautiful part, it suited the theme a lot. The animation was a cute touch also, however it could be improved in more accuracy and less error. You did absolutely well, you deserve your place here.

Comment: There were great effects & animation with the manga. The fx parts were great and lyric positioning was well done. The timing was very off though, there wasn't much flow in the part and a lot of it seemed fast paced. There was also some random oval which we didn't see was necessary. Beautiful part, just some bits looked choppy. You did great

Comment: Well suited to the theme. Loved the flow use in this. It had good timing but the ending had some choppy moments. We also felt like twixtor was overused in this and some bits looked plain. However, really well done in such short time! Thank you for being a fast replacement and doing so well

Comment: The flow was outstanding. The effects were smooth and suited the theme a lot. The effect of Natsu disappearing at the end was breathtaking and made it a great touch. We did think the start was slightly plain, otherwise your part was really well made! Thanks so much for being a fast replacement.

Comment: There was huge creativity at the start of the part. It was really great and we loved how much of it was edited. It was unique. However, the timing was very off - it was too fast paced for the song. The RAW parts seemed sort of plain too. We do think you have potential, you are someone with a great imagination. Keep up the great work!

Comment: Really loved the fx editing at the start. The pace suited the theme a lot! The raw seemed to be off in this though, mainly because of the flow/timing stopping there. Lyric positioning could be improved. Some parts seemed plain. FX was well done though. Keep it up

Comment: The flow was great along with the transitioning but there wasn't really much to this part. It was just repeating pictures and lyrics in the centre alongside with the same overlay. We felt like there could of been more to this. Especially when we can't really judge whether this was fx or raw.
